What ports need to be opens to get the remote network agent to communicate with the main software?

Q: What ports need to be opens on the firewalls on the remote and local networks to get the remote network management agent to communicate with the main software?

A: Remote Network Agent can work in two modes: active and passive. In active mode it connects to main software itself and therefore port should be opened in local network (by default it is 3459 and may be changed via the ini file if needed). In passive mode agent listens for the connection from the main software, so port should be opened in the remote network (by default it is 3457 and may be changed via the agent manager gui):
Help: Distributed Monitoring with Remote Network Agents

So, you need open the only port either in local or remote network.
